I can’t remember where I originally saw this game show, whether it was part of a YouTube algorithm or something that came up as part of a Google search.
But holy cow … take a look at this. It’s a game show where you rely on your competitive dart skills to answer trivia questions and win prizes.
Welcome to the British game show Bullseye.
In this early episode, host Jim Bowen explains the game and all the rules. The show itself seems quite quaint for an early 1980’s TV show.
Ten years later, Bullseye was still going strong, with some rule adjustments and twists. Check this out.
I’m thinking this could be a great low-budget program to recreate on Game Show Network – or maybe even on ESPN for a Sunday night program.
The original Bullseye ran from 1981 to 1995, with revivals and specials appearing in later years.
Definitely a fun time capsule of a show.
